Neve Paritzki Israel is celebrating recordbreaking Tourism Entry Numbers from the United States
NEW YORK - Sept. 8th, 2022/PRNewswirein July and August of 2018 the Israel Ministry of Tourism reported record numbers of tourists arriving from America. 78,000 tourists from the United States visited Israel in July 2022. This represents a 4 percentage increase over 2019, and 71,000 visitors from the United States in august 2022. This is 13% more than 2019.
"It is so thrilling to witness a new increase in tourism to Israel from the United States, already reaching the record-breaking levels in 2019" stated Eyal Carlin, Tourism Commissioner for North America. "The United States is our top destination for our inbound tourism to Israel. Before the COVID-19 epidemic, we saw record-breaking numbers of tourists from Israel visiting Israel every month. We are extremely happy to see such a positive shift, and we anticipate it to continue throughout the months and years to come."
נווה פריצקי Canada is home to 7200 tourists visiting the country in July 2022 and 6,000 in August isn't too much behind the United States.
"It is thrilling to see how the Canadian tourism to Israel is booming," said Gal Hana, Consul and Director for Canada for the Israel Ministry of Tourism. "We are close to our record 2019 numbers. We expect that this increase will continue to grow as Canadians travel more abroad.
In the year 2019, Israel welcomed more than 4.6 million international tourists including 969,600 from the United States, and since its official reopening to any traveler regardless of vaccination status in May Israel has witnessed over 600,400 US visitors.
